For the past 48 years, Indigenous activists, organizers, and allies have rallied around the call for freedom and Justice for Leonard Peltier. Join NDN Collective, Indigenous-led movement groups, and allied organizations on the “Free Leonard Peltier Caravan” starting in ceremony on September 8th in Pine Ridge and culminating in an action in front of the White House on September 12th, Leonard’s 79th birthday!

Together we will gather to advocate and ensure our voices are heard as we call upon the key changemakers in D.C. to free Leonard Peltier. If you are interested in joining us in DC, please complete the following registration form and we will contact you with additional information.

Caravan Itinerary

September 7th - Ceremony at Jumping Bull Ceremonial Grounds Oglala, SD @ 12pm, Feed @ 3pm

September 8th - Leave Rapid City, SD Tentatively @ 8am **Rapid City Bus is FULL**

- Arrive in Minneapolis, MN Tentatively @ 6pm, Overnight Stay

September 9th - Depart Minneapolis, MN to Chicago, IL Tentatively @ 10:00am

- Arrive in Chicago, IL Tentatively @ 5pm, Depart Chicago, IL to Pittsburgh, PA Tentatively @ 6pm

September 10th - Arrive in Pittsburgh, PA Tentatively @ 1am, Depart Pittsburgh, PA @ 2am

- Arrive in Washington D.C. Tentatively @ 7am

September 12th - Birthday Action in Washington D.C. @ 12pm, Caravan Departs Back Home Early Evening
